AustCycle is excited to announce that HCF members can now claim towards their AustCycle training under HCF’s Health Management Programs.
HCF’s Health Management program, available on certain extras covers, helps towards the cost of health related programs from approved Providers, helping members lead a fit and healthy life.
Under this program, which is designed to address or improve a specific health or medical condition, lessons conducted through the AustCycle Provider network are covered if the cycle training addresses or alleviates a specific health condition.
The cycle training must be recommended by a participant’s GP through completion of the Exercise and Gym benefits authorisation form (found here) and confirm that AustCycle is addressing a specific health condition.
This means that if you have a health condition (examples of health conditions are depression, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, asthma, arthritis or osteoporosis), you can now claim towards your cycle lessons under HCF.
To lodge a claim you will need to submit your receipts, which must be an official AustCycle receipt showing the name of the person/organisation delivering the program, type of program, where the program takes place (address), start and completion dates, as well as the cost of the program (must be paid in full).
HCF is one of Australia’s largest health funds, offering a range of affordable health cover options, and AustCycle and HCF are now working together to make cycle education a healthy option for Australian singles and families.
